Paternal side family gathering

Hi! it's a mini family gathering from my paternal side without my mum, dad, granny or brother going but just my cousins and the elders. Had High Tea buffet@ Swissotel Merchant court, it's at the Ellenborough market cafe, ambience good for gathering especially! But too much people there, I thought. But, food was so-so, temperature control could be better and service as well. So overall, not really that worth for $$ but quite a good place coz it's just around clarkequay area.

It's my cousin's birthday today! Happy Birthday to Calvin! and tml he's going to NS. Woo, so fast man. Wish you luck dude, and all the best to you! :D

Went home straight and I'm super excited now because of the TV series: Harper's Island. omg, long time since I last watched movie/tv series that involves lot of suspense/thriller! last was My Bloody Valentine and the one before was Scream !. OMGGGG

Back from IBSM!

Hi, not exactly just back from IBSM but like a week alr. Ok, trip was AWESOME! we got free and easy almost all nights, so we can explore the eateries and shopping places in the night! food in china is super cheap, 10 nights in china, i spent only 120 RMB. cheap leh! hahaha shopping was very fun especially in Guangzhou (Wholesale market), ZhuHai (Underground shopping center) and Hongkong (nu ren jie and hua yuan jie)

one thing nt good abt this trip is that, we move hotels in every 2 or 1 day, so we have to pack our luagage everynight with early morning calls like 6.30am. But, we actually went to lots of places and utilized transportation modes like Air, Land, Sea. Cool huh? haha. So with schedules like this everyday, it's inevitable that people got sick. And i'm the only one! Dont know why? I got sick in Hongkong and the journey back to SG was terrible. seriously, i dont think SQ is that good now. Lots of business man are taking economy class now and they behave like some fussy customers; as in they keep asking for service and move their seat back until your legs cant move and the it is totally not spacious at all. Not going to take SQ again, unless i'm left w/o a choice.

Overall journey was excellent, with Kokseng as our captain and Siqi as our deputy chief. Anw, a few hotels in Guangdong, they gt this mahjong rooms with automated washing tiles tables. Damn cool, tried using the mj tables and it's good! I think it's about 3k over sing dollars here. haha shall upload pics of the table soon.

Anw, we visited 10 over companies excluding the tourist attraction places. What I've learnt was totally valuable. But still, I'm not that motivated yet, shall enjoy my student life first haha. But, I do have the idea of travelling down to guangzhou wholesale market can carry some of the goods from there and sell in singapore. (it's like 5$ for a nice shorts which can sell around 20$ in some of the blogshops/livejournal). But still, i could have shopped more at there!! All because of the noobie tour guide! hahahaha

And, YEAR3 is approaching! I'm lucky that i got 3.8 for the previous semester and that proves the chance of getting into business sch in local Uni.

NTU: minmum 3.71
SMU is somewhat abt NTU standard.

Sad isnt it? but it's ok! At least i already qualified for NUS standards but! they take in the 10th percentile only. so if everyone scored good gpa for my cohort, i might not get in even though i've passed the minimum. Business schools in local uni are really hard to get in... :(

Hello bloggie, glad that I havent really forgotten my password. Just something to update...

I just watched my first M18 show: My bloody valentine 3D. Quite thrilling to me; I kept getting scares from the effects. haha, anyhows, first m18 show, first time watching 3D movie and that sums up to a rather pleasant experience for the day!

Ok, other than that, been kinda tight on cash! and yet, my schedule's almost packed for the week. I need to stay home more! and workout as well. Oh and I just met up with Kengyi and Cindy just now. long long time since we last met, many things had changed and I'm quite astonished by the changes! like, woah! :)(

After the movie, went to Clarke quay to accompany ky to her destination and cindy and i went for a walk around the area. Weather super kinda breezy and qiuet? nice weather for staying in and not out. Haa,

Imagine I just had a little more cash now, i would be spreeing in Gramophone, and more clothes! Kinda hope that I can work for the IT fair! and this year's F1! hahaha. Sidetrack, Shall be going for TB05's chalet tml! :) Hope it's gonna be fun and WWW here i come again! hahaha.

And yesterday, managed to meet up with Peijia, Km and shimei. glad that we're still having that funny friendship bond between us, it shall still be strong! and km's camera is superb and i hope you can stay in SG and not migrating to Aussie!

Christmas 2008

Just wondering how you guys spent your Christmas and Hope you guys had spent quality time w your loves one during this feastive season! The Joy of Giving

For me; Eve was spent shopping w Cindy, Lp and afterwards, to KS's hse to countdown. Vivo was packed with lots of ppl, prolly cuz of the countdown party or whatsoever. Anyway, Armani exchange's collection was nice, appealed to me. Bought a pair of jeans from Pull n Bear, more shopping to come. Maybe online shopping or what.




back to track, we headed towards Ks's house and her family was very hospitable and friendly to us! had dinner there and we started BBQ-ing. Had those chatting session and I guess it really pull us back tgth since we hasnt met up after so long. Took pics after the 'countdown' literally and reached home around 1 plus and my brother's still out partying at Arena, oh gosh.





On Christmas day,

my uncle came to pick us up and headed towards their house for a simple christmas dinner. Played some nice games (something like pool in a traditional way using ur fingers to shoot) and dinner commenced. After which was sharing session, their testimonies were very true and living which was further supported by the airing of a video. It kind of knock some sense to me, but I myself, cannot decide which religion to decide on. But right now, It's fine the way it is. Just felt that it's a really meaningful and nice session there, eventhough my bro and I aren't Christians.

So anw, Chocolate fondue follows with fruits, marshmellows to go with, it's really nice! Andddd, Present timeeeeeee! and Pictures!





This year's Christmas's has been the most enjoyable so far, spending Quality time and touchy, emotional moments w people I treasure. Thanks for making all that happen- To Joy, Calvin and parents. and Thanks to Kaisin and their family for their hospice. :D

Time flies

I realise time really does FLY. I'm already 18 and a 3rd yr poly student soon. OMG my taste is also getting older haha.

so anw, it is really unlucky to be sick now. 2 days away from Christmas and a few days away from 2009! Went to the doc on Sunday and he said somebody passed the flu virus to me. Prolly my mum who got infected from my grandma. And that's how the virus got around in my family -.- I hope it's just a simple common flu virus and not those virus featured in the news.

I think it's really damn unlucky to get infected with the virus coz my holiday's just 3 weeks and I've been coping myself at home sleeping the whole day, but of course i did some spring cleaning too! But, my room's still about the same though i did really cleared a lot of things.

I've not been going out with my different groups of friends. and I promise to do so when I've recovered.

Alright, Christmas eve will be with usuals while Actual Christmas will be spent in my aunt's house.! with nice food and presents :D

I hope i can recover SOON!!! :D

Went to visit my ex-mentors, colleagues at MF global. turns out to be a really nice experience. bought them their favourite choc mint sweets and the caramel choc sweet from duty free macau airport. oh man, shldnt choose to drop by around 1plus because the place is simply crowded with lots of working adults. it's like the usual lunch time panic in CBD area. And there's this sony road show and the host said something using the mic: "Why rush here and there, take a break and come here and enjoy" HAHA! everyone there was really, technically saying, rushing to some targetted places and that sentence sounded amusing to me, in a way.

So, Christmas is nearing the corner and no doubt, the office is decorated with real big christmas tree and all that, kind of festive deco. Chatted with Angie at the reception area and went in to talk to my cousin, G and Kenny! Mathew came shortly I kind of enjoy talking to them; So ever humorous! Nice and May, Clinton said Hi, and wow, it's a good visit ; for which I would conclude

And, met up with KS and LP for movie and some light shopping. Used the 15$ off purchase at RI for a pair of earrings. Eyed on a simple top frm f21, but it looks simple. walked around the usual shops and KS bought a top while LP none.

Caught the movie "Twilight" and it turns out to be a really nice movie, to us. Vampire romance stories are always hot, and the main actor and actress are damn hot, especially the guy. Very charismatic, we love him! I guess there will be twilight 2 ! Anticipating for that!

Anyhows, after the movie, we headed to city hall's Gelare to meet siok for some coffee and they had waffles. Was a short gathering but I pretty much enjoyed it. It's been months since I last went to shop :( Enjoyed Lp and Ks's accompany as well. haha

Decision

HEY, very long since I last update.. not going to upload Macau trip photos coz it's too cumbersome. the trip's very nice! Next country: Taipei (TW) for 2009. It's nice to go travelling every year :D Anw, been utlizing the sony digi cam with 8.1MP bought by my brother. VERY NICE! HEHE, but still, I dont like to take pictures

SO, I've been selected for IBSM (International business study mission) to travel in 3 places of China, to visit the big companies from every industry and do a project about it. the plus point is that, this IBSM which is conducted during the holidays represents ONE module, 4 credit points. So, this means that after hol, i would have one less module to take. All in all, it's more worthwhile to take IBSM since it 's selecting 30 students among the whole cohort which is like 400+.

Had been hesitating to apply because of my good friend in poly. wanted to go only if she's going. unfortunately, she didnt get selected.. and now i'm left with a decision zzz

Honestly, just the sudden urge to blog about this.

In my 18 years of life, I really cherish and care for my 3 cliques of friends

To me, they are the groups of ppl who treat me with their hearts, real feelings and everything. Realized it until nowadays, upon facing the reality of interpersonal relation in Poly

Thats make me want to treasure them more... Really.

So anw, went to Vivo but couldnt find a present that I wanted... Shopped for clothes initially but nothing caught my eye. Went on to target bags instead... Eyed on a Zara bag but OOS at Vivo
outlet. Saw one in River Island. Quite like it, cost around 217.

Tml gotta go down to Paragon or raffles city and hunt for bag. Had Coach, Longchamp, River Island in mind... :)

Had a wonderful bday cele with tiong,baolin, peiyun and LP. Dined in at Clarke Quay's Manhantten's Fish Market and the food was quite good. 128 plus for total bill and it's worth it, plus the good service (I think they're not bad) Had Fishermen giant platter shared with LP, baolin and peiyun shared another seafood platter and a grilled salmon? while tiong had some grilled fish i guess. Chat a lot, sharing session went on and on and it's really a good experience. I just love to go dining at some place with ambience and talk to each other, sharing everything.

So, spent some time on photo taking as well, and Baolin's camera went low battery. Went out and slack around riverside and they surprised me! they bought a Tiramisu from TCC!. hahaha, was really touched, but didnt want to say it out. Just keep on going "You shouldnt have done that!" haha, anw, though it's really not necessary, but I still appreciate it. Actually presence of you guys is really good for me.

Yup, that's abt it. Feeling real lethargic right now. and once again, THANK YOU for making my day. You guys shldnt have went to that extend to buy the tiramisu!

Bridges

Thursday class: Events Management was Elearning. Had a day out with AhSteph AhPiang, APAS that's what my brother call them. Haa,


So Met up with AhSteph first, shop around Suntec + Marina, nothing much, Eyed on a ZARA bag which cost 149 SGD, pretty affordable considering the material + branding. Considering between the zara bag and the topshop bag which cost 129SGD. Or maybe even Coach bag. Gotta save up !

Alright, had some talking with AhSteph while waiting for Piang, and it's enjoyable to chat with her. Had dinner at Marina Loft after Piang reached...


And she suddenly had this surge in her to go Clarke Quay to find her bridge that she dreamt of. So we made our way to there and couldnt find the one she like... Anw, Clarke Quay is full of life. haha. Went on to Boat Quay and she finally found the bridge.. sat around the area and had some chitchat and off to HOME.

Finally some relaxing moment for me. Kind of stressed up with those projects. And tml, a celebration with my another closest gang! and that spells L-O-V-E! :

Been researching a lot on uni sites and I've found what I wanted: Quantitative Finance...
Now I know what I need to get, I need at least a Cumulative GPA of 3.5 to get into NTU biz sch and more than 3.5 to get into SMU biz sch... Lol, while my cumulative GPA for 3 semester is 3.3

Oh dear! I should have worked harder since Year 1, but it is okay. :) Was quite lucky that this semester is easy... So, I'm aiming for a 3.8 GPA and director's list .I am going to make it realistic. hahaha

So anyway, Yesterday afternoon met up with Tiongie at SP and we had Subway.. it's nice to meet people up (I've been coping myself at hm for many many days)

And yesterday night went to my Da yi's bday party at Jumbo seafood restaurant... an enjoyable one with my cousins + aunties...hahaha

Other than that, had been shopping online more frequently but the waiting time is dreadful! Haha, And.....I'm buried with tutorials and projects.. it's piling up again and deadlines approaching..Common test are not too far now..

A new direction!

Have 2 piece of news here!

Bad News:
I'm currently having some weird virus (Flu virus diagnosed by doc) BUT, I dont have the so called flu. Instead, the virus makes me have a lot a lot of red dots around my body (Only covered areas said by doc, I dont know why!) and it's super duper fucking ITCHY! omfg, I wonder why this shit happen to me! It's super disgusting, just like chicken pox! Argh, !!

Good News:
I have a new direction people! I think this attachment training programme is extremely good! I feel so much different compared to 'the me' before this program. And I realise Networking is so important!

Went back to office to return the dvds to K today! Haha, went in, sat down and chatted with them a little. And I realise, K and M looks happy when they saw me! And that, just that, really makes my day! That means, I'm still a Not-Bad employee over there! There's a sense of satisfaction ! K was suggesting me to work part time here! HAHA and they claimed I drive their business cause their business drops as soon as I left. Lol. Anyhows, I feels good to be back there, be it looking at the fish or entertaining their lame chat.

After that, went out and shared with Angie the happenings these few days. Told her about my study plan options after I graduate and her advices really enlighten me!

Plan B-Work part time, study SIM part time
Plan C- Overseas University

After some discussion, Plan B seems to be the most workable. Haha, I have plans alr, after this semester, follows a 6mth internship and I would most probably go for it. Year 3 is gonna be god damn fast man. :) All the best to myself! I'm so lucky that I made the correct choice to ask from K for the internship opportunity. Though it sounds very ' Pull-string', the phrase I would use, Well, that's all about Networking. If you have network out there, you're safe.

Sat- Met up with lp,steph,siok and ks, sy to celebrate SY BDAY! (Advance!)

We went to Changing Appetite for dinner, a pretty nice chill out dinner place for me. Watched "Connected" and it keeps me in low energy as it was the same story plot in "Cellular"; I thought it would somehow be different. Kind of wasted on that, But House Bunny wasnt avaliable for the time slot we wanted. Oh wells, after that went shopping for SY's shirt, but couldn find a suitable one for her I guess.

Parted at the MRT. Haha, start of the plot to surprise SY at her house! Yes, and we went to her house outside her door, sang a bday song to her with the cake. haha, Hope she's surprised, but i guess she's really tired from all the trainings. Haa, took group pictures and choppy chop, we went home...

Yea, so once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SZEYING!

Sun- met up with baolin, tiong

It was early in the morning and I was awaken by a call from my cousin,G. haha! K and her are coming over to my dad's stall. Yea, was kind of shocked! And I guess they're gonna come again SOON, to have lunch- that's what he said, or even weekly; to exchange movies-that's what he said as well. I was kind of touched, i mean, It means that I'm quite a good employee that's why he doesnt just cut off the relationship there. Hahaa, the butterfly as well :) anyhows, I'm happy about it. and I'm looking forward to the BBQ at his house at the deepavali (sat-mon long weekend break!), haha

Went MSQ and I bought a slim white havainas, looks like silver to be exact. lol, went chinatown after that, did a little catching up and I hope there will be more with baolin and tiong tgth!

went home and finished off 2 movies, 2 more to go....

OH MAN, damn sad

Spent 70 over at Famous Amos for all the gifts to K's desk, G's desk, receptionist and 2 beloved cleaners there.

it started off as a normal work day, gave the present for Angie and Mary as well as the cleaners before I began work. went to the office and place the other gifts at one corner. haha, feels weird to present the gifts to them immediately I see them, and they were busy as well.

Waited some time when market becomes quiet, it started off when I started taking photos of the fish tank!, Mathew joined me and when Kenny sees us busily taking pics of the fishes, HE BEGAN TOO! LOL!!, began a little chat with my cuz' and there, I took out the plastic bag which contained all the Famous Amos gifts! gave G a cookie lolli, followed by K and M. HAHA, ok, went on to take out the 3 cannister and the card to K. I can see that, He's touched! ahahaha, i guess i over-spend a little over there! hahaha. And the expression I got from him makes me feel a little withdrawn. Well, It's all well spent because they are really wonderful people. :D Anyhows, the card cost me 10.80 dollar, and it's just a normal card size. Haha, wrote something from my heart at the back and ordered him to open only on Monday... (Wonder if he will do that)

Went to lunch with Angie and she treated me back, some very famous noodles stall. Very nice noodles, Love them. Hang out at the reception area a little and took pictures of them and Arsenal FC conference room, Super high tech! went into office and K asked me when do I wana cut cakes? I was kind of taken aback by that, I was thinking "I have a cake?!" haha, was very touched as well, the 2 large cakes cost 50 over dollar. Mark helped me to cut the cakes and I went around to everyone offering them the cakes (Not my birthday, but my last day of internship, I repeat this many times! HAHA) Hope all of them enjoyed the cakes!

I feel that this was a real good present from K. I mean, it's a 2 way thing, they are aware of my presence, and pull my relationship with the work mates closer (Especially those from other desks) I think that was good. :)

Yup, K continued to play his latest addiction; the song "It's the end of the world as we know it" haha! It's very like what the stock market is doing! He said, agreed by his customers as well. haha, and we went saying Fucking fuck fuck it, fuck this, fuck this shit, fucking bitch, hahaha! and the institutional desk ppl went LOL-ing for quite some time. I realised it's addictive to say "Fuck" especially when you are working (Broking) because it's too stress! Market's always fucked up this few weeks. hahaha, move off suddenly with no reason...

And bid farewell to the rest of people, Tagged along to K's house to borrow movies and settle the evaluation form, He gave me all full marks! I'm very happy about that! my cuz, jonnie, jonathan and people were playing mahjong alr haha! Anyway, I hate eye stares!. Was on his sports car and we stopped at the front of traffic road, and those stupid motorcylist just keep staring and staring at us. That was what K told me "Look at your left, I guess he must be thinking what's with a older man hanging out with a 18 yr old girl". I simply replied "Fuck him" hahah! that was influenced by the on-playing Linkin Park's song too. Anyway, eye stares just sucked. Can't they just keep their eyes to themselves?!

Emotionally inclined

Kind of feeling depressed right now, blogging might be the only way to say things out a little

Was feeding fishy this morning, my cousin's desk ppl started asking me "Oh ya, you're left with 2 or so weeks right?, Time flies really fast...." This kind of set my mood.. I was reminded that I'm left with 2 weeks to pack up my feelings working with them and return for school...

That was sad... I was once asked if I enjoyed working with them and I told them Yea, a little. But actually, My answer is a very much yes. but i m gonna write those appreciation thoughts to them before I leave.. :D

Working so far has been so fun (Though sometimes it's boring) that I keep myself thinking that I'm just a intern who's gonna be there for less than 2 months.. I'm enjoying work so much so that I fell in love with office wear, so much that I begin to hate studying, so much that I begin thinking of taking part time uni studies +working... but of course, with them...

I'm gonna miss talking to May, Clinton, Mathew, Jonathan, and Kenny...

Cracked a lot of jokes with them, they're really nice fellows, they're so exciting and fun that makes me feel that I shouldnt carry on living my life like that (Slacking at hm), I should try NEW things and not be afraid to do so... I guess most of them knows my weakness.. I'm too much a overprotected person who doesnt even think of trying new things, someone who does what she's only confident/good in... It's difficult to change that, But I will try....


All have been great to me, such a brillant internship of mine which lets me enjoy the fun, as well as absorbing experiences from them...

Anyway, had lunch with delphine! Subway-ed.. Super crowded, next time dont eat there... :S I begin to feel that we're closer friends now! better den before... well, she's still my bestie in Poly... lol

It's a Friday night, and it's definitely a must meet up with my girlfriends! Met jia, mei, km after work and we went to Boat Quay area to have dinner. Food wasnt nice, recommended the wrong place. Thought business was good= nice good. Now I can say the food at the La Mian place is horrible.. Shall try Kindara next time... Northern Indian crusine.. Hee

So we walked around, and went for coffee at Starbucks after that, den went outside for Chit chat, catching up with each other.. Nice session with the girls. :D Love them! :DD

Hearing more people saying I've changed.. Hmm, and Maybe? haha.. I dont know if it's better or worse.. But what I know for sure is, I've a better direction right now than before, I've a clearer idea and all that.

Anw, Going out with Mei tml to shop for Heels! I'm so in love with heels with office pants. HAHA, but it's only a 3 more weeks before I leave the company, completing my internship. Aww... It's been super fun so far... How wish I can start work right away in that company!

So, I'm getting to know more people there, taking their advices and digest them. Yup, They're very nice to me...

my cousin came and pick me up ard 9, prepared and headed towards Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. after which, we had Mee Siam at Killiney kopitiam, soon John,Jonie, Eric, Maybel came and joined us.. Followed by Jac, Chleo, bla bla.... Checked in, and boarded the Ship, Indera Bupala at 11.10am...

Reached Bintan around 1 hr later, and we went to check in to the villa, we stayed at Indra Maya Villas and the only transport medium are all bungy! every villa has got one! :) (Bungy is those mini car that you see in golf course)..

Our company booked this 4 bedroom villa which was WOWWWW.. (picture up next time) but me, my cousin, kenny, john and mark stayed at the 3 bedroom villa which was a more normal villa, but of course, with poolside, tanning area as well...

After that, we went for lunch at the nirwana beach resort, lunch was kind of alright for me, nth much to be impressed.. Service wise wasnt that good, maybe because they dont understand english that much? Haa, Went to play BANANA BOAT at Nirwana Garden's beach resort's beach (I know it's complicated) and volleyball with jac, chleo they all... Super fun! especially banana boat, We're all trying super hard NOT to capsize, and we DID it! :))

after that, went back to the 4 bedroom villa, and Kenny and the guys jus came back from their Golf session.. Haha, Went back to our villa with Kenny, waited for him to prepare and off we went for BADMINTON at the 4 bedroom villa area. And on the way there, I was taught roughly how to drive that bungy! Yeaaaaaaaaaa

after that bathed and I drove the bungy back again! :) Dinner was at The Kelong Restaurant, was a filling and nice dinner! Den, gathered at the 4 bedroom villa area and some went swimming at the pool while the rest lighting up lanterns, drinking, eating moon cakes. Later in the night, the guys went to some Beach party for some dancing and drinking while I took a nap at the poolside, sleeping on the tanning sofas. Haha, natural air, nice environment somemore got pool there, damn relaxing to sleep at there...

Kenny and Yen came back, think they were saying the party aint fun as mostly were not High enough.. Haa, so we went back to our place and that marks the day...

Couldnt get a deep sleep, was asleep for an hr or so but woke up agn and this cycle continues till 8 plus Singapore time.. hahaha

Day2:

Woke up with cousin and we went to had breakfast... Kenny they all werent awake, so went there ourselves. The rest of the company were there, almost finished their breakfast alr, haha! Ok, so went back villa after that, slacked a while, and arranged for JETSKI the next 2 or 3 hr later... Kenny woke up and we played badminton again, But this time, 1v1... since no basketball courts were there... I lost to him lah! -.- nvm, he won by luck and scheme...

so after that, I drove the bungy again!... hehe so fun~ and after that, went to have my JetSki ride...! Super shiok I tell you, everyone gt to try in their life time...the feeling of acceleration is SUPERB i tell you. hahahaha, OMG.. but it's super ex, 30 mins for 85SGD...

after that went for Thai food restaurant and I had another Cocktail: Sea breeze.. Earlier on was Mango madness... Wooooo, I went Red on the 2nd sip.. Strong for me aint it?! I have very weak alchohol tolerance.. ok, the heart was pumping like shit, skull skin was PINK, Arms and legs, face, practically, whole of my body went red after I finished that up. HAHAHA!!! They laughed at me :( Afterall, I'm still a young adult..

ok, so Chop chop, Bathed at the 4 bedroom villa and the Bathroom was SO SO SO NICE......!!!! FIRST TIME enjoyed BATHING... so after that, headed towards bintan ferry terminal, departing to Singapore..

So, cousin long bang-ed me to my house and we had Hokkien Mee tgth! Yup, and That's roughly how my trip went. Thanks for reading till here! :DD

Thoughts

Learned many things, more on experiential stuffs in fact... About Dating, meeting people, tried things that I've never tried before, (Banana boat, Jet Ski, play beach volleyball, driving..) tried new food as well.. (Those Thai food...Naan is very nice!)..

well, they said I'm too innocent, naive for the society.. and I would need a lot of exposure.. especially getting cheated by guys.. HAHA!.. And thanks to Jonie and Jac who taught me on Cocktails, Shots those alcoholic drinks and stuffs..

Jonie:"next time if a guy offered you WATERFALL, dont get it, cox you will be down just by one shot"

Haha, still remembered this.. Yup

And Kenny taught me many many things, especially dating! HAHAHAA...

Gave it a thought, and I agree that I should really step out of my comfort zone and bump into new things, new lifestyle, new exposure bla bla...and I should really get more independant... No more relying on friends, family that much...

2nd week's Over!

Phew, it's been so fast...! tml's my 3rd week already. Haha, kind of like working life. Studies are not everything, quoted by my CEO. hahaha

So far, watched these dvds for the weekends...

Oh man and I kind of like working late shift, cox i'm able to hop onto my 'uncle soon-to-be' 's Porsche sports car! I must work like mad to buy myself a sports car! My AIM!!

nothing much to blog about, latest one was, my mum and I went to had a mini spree at giordano's warehouse. I bought 3 long pants (office wear), my mum bought 3 long pants and 1 ber.. haha It's cheap and worth it you know. $10 per bottom and the quality was good, much better than those from mango, zara.. (the normal office pants, exclude those which are better in quality)

tml's gotta work the morning shift, 5.30am at there, 4.30 gotta wake up, ZOMG, i duno if I can make it tml!! HAHAHA

alright, but morning shift can knock off from work early, like 2pm or 3pm leh!

and finally a meet up planned tml with lp, steph and maybe tiong! :)

fuking gastrics...

as usual, went work, work was fine, RBA 's decision on cuting interest rate (25 bps) to 7% hit the market real hard and from the period 3 plus to 6 plus, our desk are super chaotic.. haha. well, Did survive during that time without getting scolding. work till 7.30 as market went crazy for that period.. heard that nikkei (jap) finally went chaotic..

Gastrics started giving me problems since 6 plus, till now, it's still kinda uneasy.... shit + fart + gastric pain, can you imagine what I've been experiencing? fuking zzz

Anw, FINALLY had lunch with Delphine that tall dog! hehe..I realise we're quite similar!

And, we're wearing the same pattern of shoe lah! hahaha it kinda surprised me.. hehe.. she's my best friend in poly! someone that I'm more comfortable with.. haha.

It's kind of lucky to be working around the same area.! can haf lunch appointments tgth if colleagues not eating with you! hehehe...

oH yea and my teacher came my work place. LOL i hope it's good. HAHA.. met more colleagues today and I'm glad they're friendly to me :D I'm lucky!

Boreddddddd

Woohoo, 1 week of work is gone. Like super fast. I'm left with 6 weeks. Oh man, I will miss them very much... most of them are good to me, No politics and stuffs, Or maybe it doesnt seem to happen at in my team and my cousin's.. Hmmmm

Sighs,.. anyway, Im glad to have kenny as my boss, and hopefully he will become my uncle (Cousin's husband) SOON. HHAHAHA. And I would most prob get a Caucasian as my partner.! Just a preference right now.

as long as there's kenny and mathew there, It definitely makes my day. They love to joke so much =X and one more thing, they love to teach me too! haha

Summarise it all, has been a great great exposure for me since day1 and I'm really happy. What's more good is that, Angie's my BRUNCH khaki. She's the front desk personnel and they are very nice to meeee!! Loves to them!

So anyway, it's weekend tml and kenny boss lend me 3 movies to enjoyyy at home. Well, Sharing is Caring! such a good uncle-to-be right! gonna watch movie on monday in office. haha, anyway, boss sort of like delegated some stuffs to me and I feel important! even though it's just waking him up in how many minutes time and helping him to oversee this message from his clients.

haha, Aniway, Marc and John are very nice to me too! Marc's kind of crappy and John lets me off early! Heee just like big brothers taking care of a little pokemon

As days goes by...

Well, just a little update over here...

Went to watch 4BIA with steph, pieng at engwah Suntec and the movie was humorous+Horrifying+Super stress, I would say...

Anyway, was kinda of like a good day out with them, since It's been quite long since we last saw each other. So, :D

So, today's been the 4th day I've been working there. Getting to know more and more people and I can sense 1 didnt really like me. :S Maybe I think too much. So anyway, I don care abt her la, it's been an enjoyable experience at the working desk area there. HAHA, challenged typing speed test with boss and mates, including my cousin! I'm the CHAMPION. hahaha, realise my typing speed and accucary are pretty MATURED. hahaaha

Somehow learned more about Financial markets, terms, adjectives to describe the market... write tickets, alphabets to represent certain contracts, mths, reading figuresss and definitely, More about the economy.

I found myself surfing the net, reading Wall street journal, new york times, yahoo news, market reports, mainly on U.S markets though. Singapore ones are kind of not what we specialise in. Info surrounding me are all U.S stuffs like Bloomberg news hahaha..

Oh yea, and my teacher called to the office today, saying she would visit me next tues. Haha, shall seeeee. ANW, I'm getting in love with COFFEE. starbucks one especially.

Alright, today market was rather qiuet. Boringggggggggggg.... i think, i gotta buy a Nice book, and maybe i can read them during times of qiuet market. It's painful man, waiting for time to pass by. ahahhaa. Well, At least i dont get to do all those cheap labour stuffs like photocopying paper all that. I'm just sitting there and learning from them. Hope I can do them well, and maybe, join as a broker after I graduate... Career is kinda good, at least sometime I kind of like. definitely not like MARKETING or what shit. FINANCE is good. Hmm,
